QHotels Group has announced the acquisition of Marston Hotels Ltd

In a £180 million deal QHotels Group has announced the acquisition of Marston Hotels.  Winners of AA Hotel Group of the Year in 2002, Marston was an independent hotel chain with 12 luxury hotels.

Hotels included in the purchase are:

• Aldwark Manor near York
• Bridgewood Manor in Kent
• Crewe Hall in Cheshire
• Hellidon Lakes in Northamptonshire
• Stratford Manor in Stratford-upon-Avon
• Tankersley Manor near Sheffield
• The Cambridge Belfry in Cambourne
• Stratford Victoria in Stratford-upon-Avon
• The Hampshire Court in Basingstoke
• The Hythe Imperial in Kent
• The Nottingham Belfry in Nottingham
• The Oxford Belfry in Oxford

Hayley Conference Centres acquire Principal Hotels Group

On 25th May Hayley announced their acquisition of the Principal Hotels Group. 

The group is made up of:

• The George Hotel, Edinburgh
• The Royal York and Events Centre, York
• The Met, Leeds
• Hotel Russell, London
• Selsdon Park Hotel and Golf Club, South Croydon
• St David's Hotel and Spa, Cardiff
• Hawkstone Park and Country Club, Shropshire
