The City of Manchester Stadium plays host to a number of special events including the UEFA Cup Final to held on 14th May and Ricky Hatton's Home Coming Fight on 24th May 2008.

‘The Homecoming’ fight is in defence of Hatton’s IBO Light Welterweight title and his opponent is the Mexican Juan Lazcano.  Since tickets went on sale, only 36 hours ago, a staggering 45,000 tickets have been sold.

The City of Manchester Stadium was built to host the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and is now home to Manchester City Football Club.  Conference and banqueting facilities include seven versatile suites including The Boardroom, Mancunian and Legends Suites, plus a number of Executive Boxes suitable for all types of events, conferences, training courses, seminars, corporate lunches and gala dinners.

Ideally located, only a few minutes away from Manchester City Centre, the motorway network, mainline railway stations and Manchester Airport, the Stadium has free on site parking for 2,500 cars.

An additional Stadium attraction is the museum and stadium tour which takes about an hour and is available 7 days a week.
